The conference will be hosted by the University of South Australia at the National Wine Centre of Australia.
Situated on the edge of Adelaide's stunning Botanic Gardens, the National Wine Centre is a combination of eye-catching
architecture (it is shaped like a wine barrel) and smooth functionality.
The Wine Centre provides a superb alternative to a standard venue for any event and is an
exciting tourism venue which showcases the entire Australian wine industry. It features outdoor terrace areas with views of the Centre's vineyard and Botanic Gardens. Conference
facilities include state-of-the-art technical and audiovisual equipment and pillarless function spaces.
Some images of the Wine Centre are displayed at the right of this page.
The map of Adelaide shows the location of the National Wine Centre (see location 30 marked in red).
The National Wine Centre of Australia is adjacent to the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, in the north east part of the city. It is at the corner of Hackney Road and Botanic Road. The pedestrian entrance is located on Botanic Road. You can also walk through the Botanic Gardens to the Centre (see the illustration).
The conference dinner will be held at the Mount Lofty Summit restaurant, which provides beautiful panoramic views over Adelaide to the sea.
